Client Background
The client’s manufacturing and quality assurance processes were monitored and tracked manually using basic office software. This was time consuming and could not accurately evaluate machine operational efficiencies, maintenance needs and quality conformance.
What We Did For Them
We digitalised the entire manufacturing and quality control process by connecting to machines and instruments, installed sensors to collect machine data, monitored machine output, as well as managed quality assurance processes. Optimus was adapted to fit the unique manufacturing needs of the client such as integrating with existing SAP and instruments for automated data collection.
Goals : To improve productivity in a sustainable way using proper enterprise systems.
Outcome : Productivity and overall waste was reduced. Skills upgrade initiatives and knowledge transfer of existing ground staff to manage highly complex manufacturing was achieved. Overall, better quality control and output.
